Read news that Wenger is thinking about bringing in a veteran GK to replace Seaman. They have been monitoring Rame&Coupet. RUBBISH!

RUBBISH I SAY AGAIN! We got Wright. Wright has shown he can be an excellent goalie, only needs to get out of Pornstar´s shadow and get some more confidence. Don´t ruin it all by buying a new goalie. NO! :angry

Also Taylor was AWESOME when both Wright&Seaman were down. If we buy another goalie, Taylor´s chances will decrease. Not good. Arsenal should give BOTH Taylor&Wright a chance to improve by playing some games. Wright could be England #1 in couple of years and many say Taylor has huge potential too..

I´ve been all against Seaman after last season, I still think he should step down. His latest performances and good form have given me doubts.. I still think Wright should be #1. But then maybe Seaman could stay as GK coach/backup goalie - something like Lukic was. Getting 5-10 games a year. But also Taylor should get chances.

Wenger: don´t buy a goalie. We don´t need one. Even Manniger is still in our books (only a loan).

well, i wouldnt say wright will be england no 1. i think kirkland and robinson are better, but he will there or there abouts. i think bringing in a new keeper would be a mistake

Wrighty should have never left Ipswich (not that I'm bitter) He would have had first team football every week, and would probably still have a claim to the number one England shirt.

It's time for Seaman to hang up his boots, Wright should be able to take over now, with Taylor ready to step in if needed.

Seaman won't come off his line if he can help it because he's afraid of getting injured again, not good enough for us any more.

1) it was good for Wright´s career to leave Ipswich - like every great player he has a shot to play CL
2) Wright got a chance to start, but didn´t do well at the start of the season - hence he has lost some of Wenger´s trust
3) Wright was injured for a long spell (Taylor played)
4) Both Kirkland/Robinson will not be #1 for couple of years now - Wright will be next season. I suppose England will not play reserve goalies.

Is it just me, but it seems like every Pool fan is overrating their players and saying that 4 out of 5 Pool players should be in the England team? :eek :eek Like: Barmby, Murphy, Kirkland, Carragher..

Please be realistic now and then Scousers.
