According to the latest reports from Italy, AC Milan are willing to pay their grossly under-performing Brazilian international Rivaldo up to £3m to agree to have his contract with the club anulled.
The 31-year-old former World Player of the Year has looked a pale shadow of his former self since arriving from Barcelona last summer and the San Siro side are said to have lost faith in him to the extent that they would happily pay him such a large amount as they would otherwise have to pay him £13m in wages over the next two years.
