I think it's a tie between Rivaldo and Batistuta, but I'd go for Rivaldo cos we all knew Batistuta lost it last season.

I'd rephrase it into 'one of inter's biggest mistakes...' :) I can name you (and even Interista can) many players who were boght for a high amount and then never even played with the first team.

Batististuta was loaned from Roma, not bought. Hope Inter can terminated the contract at the end of the season wihout extra costs.

we let him go on a free coz van gaal is a c***. we can't judge players on one season. remember how rui costa did in his forst season at ac milan? and look at him now! rivaldo isn't given enough chances, anyway.

Rui Costa has been crap this season too when compared to his Fiorentina days. He hasn't scored a single league goal for Milan in 2 years :o With Fiorentina he would bag around 10 each year.

Batistuta has 2 more years with Inter; I'm pretty sure he was purchases as Sensi laughed at Moratti after the sale, saying he sold them an old sole or something like that.
