To be honest I didn't know about this in Anderson's contract "But United's purchase of Brazilian midfielder Andersen has complicated the issue, with Sir Alex Ferguson agreeing to give Porto preference in loaning players from the Premiership champions as part of the deal. "
So which players would you like to have from Man Utd, let's be realistic, just hope they don't give us half broken players that will spend more time in the hospital than on the field.
Man Utd don't have any good players from their second team, so maybe Saha, Ole....I don't really know if I want any of these players.....

Rossi.
Hes the only one Porto would honestly take..atleast if i were them.
Maybe get Saha, he would be good for porto if healthy.

Not Pique?

Rossi, Pique, Dong
They would be the 3 I would look at.
And Dong I would want to buy cheap, just to sell shirts in the far east.

Juve also want Rossi, and to be honest I think he would rather get Rossi, to me the player loan deal was a bullS%#t story for us just to sell, even if Rossi decides to go to Juve I'm sure there will be no other Man U players coming to this side......

Stop crying bluedragon, you expect Porto to be able to keep players and pay them the wages of the English or Spanish leagues.
If you win the Portuguese league you get 3m euros or something, the English league if you get promoted to the Premiership you get 100m euros.
Shows the difference eh?
We have a fantastic team, and I have faith in PdC. The Anderson deal was irrefusable and whether we get a loan player or not doesn't bother me much, but I would love Rossi to come.

I'm happy with the Anderson deal looking back at it now, sold him for 5 times the price we paid for, he only played 21 games in a season and a half. It was a good move.
And I wouldn't mind Rossi/Pique.
If Pepe stays than I'll just want Rossi, I want B.Alves to improve.

If we sell Pepe then yeah, but what we really need now is a skilled striker.

I don't think we are that desperate for a striker. Postiga and Adriano scored 10+ each... and Adriano only had half a season. These guys don't do the prettiest job but they get the job done.
But if we bring in Rossi I expect one of them to leave, most likely we will use 1 striker again next season and we allready have..Lisandro, Postiga, Adriano, Renteria, B.Moraes. We don't need 6 strikers.
To be completely honest, I am fine with our team that we have right now, especially that we have signed another young Brazilian..we got some players coming back from loan, and some players being promoted. I'm fine with this team.

Lisandro, Postiga, Adriano, Renteria, B.Moraes
The last 2 are dispensable if we ever got Rossi

Yeah I said if we get him one will leave, for sure and maybe 2..but we do have the right amount of striker at this moment.
I am happy with Postiga and Adriano tbh, they scored for us.
If Rossi does come would we pay his wages? 100% of them?
He can't be that expensive anyways.

I don't know...shouldn't we get a playmaker now that Anderson is gone?

With the squad we have now, we can play;
Helton
Bosingwa, Pepe, Alves, Fucile/Cech
Assuncao,
Lucho, Machado/Meiereles/Ibson
Quaresma, Postiga/Adriano, Lisandro.
our other CM would have to improve, but it's not like Anderson was a key player anyways.
Or we can go with 2 strikers, dropping a cm.
I guess JF has to decide if he wants another AM or not, we can't only rely on Jorginho.

If Quaresma stays, we don't even really need a playmaker.
But what if he leaves, or gets injured...Jorginho? :ninja
So yeah I agree, a playmaker is essential.
Bruno Moraes, Ibson, Vieirinha would be decent as AMC's IMO, but I would like to bring in a natural AMC.

Yeah I was thinking about that. It was the midfield Adriaanse used and it worked fine.

Yeah, we don't have to make a high-profile signing that's supposed to start regularly, but at least a guy we can rely on when someone like Quaresma or Lucho is injured. Jorginho is not totally incompetent but I don't like the idea of him being a starter for months.

I mean someone like Romagnoli's level would be perfect.
Romagnoli is hardly high profile, and is underrated.
A similar player for us would be a good signing IMO.
I can't remember how much Romagnoli cost Sporting...but I'm sure it wasn't an extortionate price, and there must be at least a dozen similar players in South America alone.

I don't know if they bought him yet, and I think his club is asking something around 3m, we could spend that with no problems.

Exploit Brazil, there is bound to one there.
If we get Rossi should we go to 4-4-2? Lucho, Assuncao, Quaresma, Lisandro midfield with maybe Rossi, Adraino/Postiga upfront? We can rely on our wings alot more, Quaresma is a natural winger and Lisandro is a workhorse, great forward and can bring the ball up, but not to sure about his crossing.
