View Full Version : NEC Nijmegen - Ajax: the prologue

28 april 2003: NEC - AFC AJAX: LOS...!
// Short summary. Ajax got 600 tickets for the match and a "combi"(don't know the english word for that but you have to travel with a bus to get a ticket). 600 tickets is the capacity of the away stand in our stadium(and the legal minimum). But they want to come with free travel AND 1100 tickets cause Feyenoord, who got a friendly relation with NEC sups, in contrary to ajakkes, did get that number of tickets. This number of tickets they will surely not get because the stadium is already sold out. :salute But now they all want to go with free travel with or without tickets. The b******s! This only means they want to demolish our city, like last year when they also complained about the number of tickets and did damage some cafes and bars in the center!

well, you can travel wherever you want. It is up to the police to keep the city safe. Should be easier as they are aware of the fact already.
If the away stand is 600 how can they demand 1100 tickets?
Was the 1100 of Feyenoord fans rammed into the same 600 section or were they given some seats in the home area?

In this case Ajax fans should shut up and take what they`re given.

Well, what I know is that AJAX fans always get other threatment, that's just not fair! And if feyenoord gets extra tickets so should AJAX! The best would be if they would give neither of them extra tickets, and not like this, which is DOUBLE STANDARDS and I remember that everybody here hated double standards...(apparently not if it includes AJAX and their fans)...
But AJAX fans always get trouble, I remember Vitesse, Utrecht, Groningen, Heerenveen...well it's just not fair and in this case hooligans can be of some use.. If the human way(talking) doesn't approve time after time......than I would approve some other tougher measures..

The home team people take the full responsibility for security on the stadium. If they decided that selling some more tickets to away fans and placing them between home fans wouldn`t cause any trouble - free will. If they think that may be dangerous - obey the national FA standards and give only what they have to. 600 in NEC case.

Feyenoord and NEC have a friendly relation. So it's no problem to give some tickets to Feyenoord fans. The relation between NEC and Ajax is not very good.. That's the reason they have to come with the combi and get only 600 tickets.

NEC and Feyenoord are friends.
NEC are a bunch of W.ankers. Everyone acts like they are friends of them (Feyenoord), 'cause they travel in numbers and are in the home stands.
Well f.u.c.k. that, they are in our stands next sunday, and cheering means riots, all other clubs are to afraid to take them on and they are afraid to go to Ajax.
Utrecht supporters could cheer in the NEC stand as well, no problems, are we friends as well then?

This is not true. :nono The good relation between NEC and Feyenoord is something grown out of the past. They get 2 stands for themselve so are not between people of NEC there. Of course there are also some Feyenoorders in the real NEC stands. Most of the time no problem. They are quite quiet. But this year, 2 of them started to cheer after a Feyenoord goal and were attacked. The story you told could be a case at other club but not at NEC.

Sorry mate, but all clubs in Holland seem to call themselves friends of Feyenoord, Groningen, NEC, Excelsior and many more.
Everyone is afraid of them and say: we're friends.
Got to say they've sorted the away fan thing though with their Diamond, Gold and Silver Cards.

Well, I don't know much about the friendship of Feyenoord with other clubs. But to come back on topic. Ajakkes are surely NOT our friends. So these adjustments are certified. Last year, when Ajakkes could become champion in Nijmegen, they even sticked pamplets everywhere to get tickets. The adjustments were even stricter that year when every visitor had to let its (S)CC + ID+ ticket checked before entering the stadium. The night before some ajakkes scum were rioting in the centre, making a lot of troubles. So they must not cry for getting a combi and only 600 tickets!
sounds like double standards to me, should give the full allocation to all the sides, not just the ones you like  Unless of course you know they won't be able to sell the tickets in which case you give them less

We as true Excelsior-supporters absolutely DON'T wanna call ourselves Feyenoord-friends. :nono
Mark, I understand your point. But the home team is responsible for the safety, they have to grant at least 600 tickets due to KNVB-regulations. More tickets are only granted if safety allows that (and the home team wants to grant those tickets). Because NEC - Feyenoord is 'low risk' and NEC - Ajax is 'high risk', they granted Feyenoord extra tickets because that's possible looking to the safety. Ajax didn't get it, because that isn't possible because of safety.
Excelsior grants normally 400 tickets to the away fans (according to the regulations), at local derbys (Feyenoord and Sparta) and matches in which there aren't many home fans (some first division matches last season and this season the cup game against FC Utrecht), 700 away fans can enter the ground.

Hmm, why would NEC - AJAX be a high risk match? Assuming that AJAX fans would come on free travel, what's there suppose to happen?
If AJAX fans come on free travel, I suspect AJAX fans won't make trouble, since that would mean that they never get free travel again. So, the chance that AJAX fans create trouble is very small, I would say. That's in a free travel situation...(in a combi situation you have a possibily that AJAX fans go there themselves anyway...Well that'll create more problems, cause than they won't be coming for a football match)Then you have NEC fans...well I don't see NEC fans attacking 600 AJAX fans :nono :nono
So I don't see the problem... well in a free travel solution..;)

Like I said, if AJAX fans were alowed to go on free travel, why would they go and fight? That would mean that they would never be allowed to go without a combi and than AJAX fans wouldn't have anything to argue about that..
What does combi mean:
Combi = no entrance to the stadium if you go on free travel...BUT they can always enter the city on free travel...guess what happens than?? :devil

First of all Ajax have been roitting the last couple of season where ever they could, Twente away, NAC at home, Utrecht at home. No provocations but starters, I don't mind but don't talk nonsense.
Why they would riot? They are an easy target, just like we have been trough with AZ, attacking cars from scarfers, resulting in us attacking their main pub. Even lads that are not into hooliganism will get attacked. It will result in fighting all round as everybody wants to have a go at the group that call themselves the main firm of Holland. f*** me, I would have a go.
its always the same s*** with those clubs, Utrecht, Heerenveen, Vitesse, willem II, NEC. "O Ajax come's they always make trouble and I dont want to have them here so we give them a less number of tickets" f*** them its always the same b******* of the mayors or clubs
always when Ajax come's they refuse to give as many tickets as they give to other clubs, 'cause they are afraid of riots in there city's'. :censored (...) these people. if you wont to have riots in your city's, or demonstrations of the supporters don't make theme angry. thats it.
and why is always a combi needed for Ajax supporters, last weekend in Alkmaar there wasnt a combi and everything was easy, no riots and no demolisation of any side of the supporters. and AZ Alkmaar and Ajax arnt realy friends. and they walked trough eachother behind the stadium. why is it in alkmaar easy and enywhere else not??? 'cause there wasnt a combi, and AZ didnt mess around with the number of the tickets
its b*******, if you dont want to have trouble in your city, ore angry supporters of an other team why do you make them angry???
if a mayor or a club is messing with the tickets or he only wants a combi, they are asking for trouble ore actions of the fans
