FK Austria Wien are the new Austrian Bundesliga champions following a 2-1 away victory at the only side that could still have denied them, Grazer AK.
GAK gave themselves hope of a victory that would have kept their mathematical chances of catching Austria alive when René Aufhauser put them ahead a minute before half-time. But Austria, needing only a draw, equalised with 21 minutes to go through Sigurd Rushfeldt, and Vladimír Janocko's winner three minutes later secured their 22nd championship – and their first for a decade.
