Hi, I am from Québec City, Canada, French is my mother language and I also sepak english. I love to watch and play football. Here I get games fromm France (one game once a week), England (Two games on saturdays) and the Champions League(not all the games, only the ones involving big clubs). Here hockey is the most popular sport, but right now it's getting a little boring.

I fell in love with football at the age of 5, and i have been playing ever since, except i'm not part of a league anymore. I subscribed to this forum because the people involved in it seemed respectful and also in love with the game.

Before I only played the game, i didn't care to watch it on TV (remember, here, the mainstream media don't care about it). Two years ago I accidentally caught a game in Camp Nou. Don't remember what the score was, don't remember who barca played against, but i stared in front of the TV Just listening to the atmosphere. At the time I wasn't even playing anymore. It was awesome. That's how i gained interest, because of the passion for the game fans around the world have. Weird isn't it? I will start playing again in a few weeks and I can't get enough of soccer, football as the rest of thw world calls it. :)

Thank you for reading my post, hope to talk to you in a foresable future, or something like that. I am happy to join this forum.

Hi,

I would like to learn more about the history of Fc Barca, the importance to the catalans, their rivalry with Real Madrid, etc. Do you know where I could find such information, other than officials website?

Things back east are great, it's election time here, even though no one really cares beacause the attention is focused on the war in irak.

Concerning hockey, you must be very glad the way the canucks are playing right now. I will cheer for them, the oilers, and the sens in the playoffs. Not the leafs. I just can't. I think right now it's boring because the trade deadline is up, almost every team is qualified for the playoffs, and there are just a feew regualr season games left. This is the borgin time for me... But if you want my opinion, and i'm sure you'll agree, these will be the best playoffs in a long time. Enough of hockey, we're in a soccer forum! ;)

Yeah I do watch soccer central evey saturday. I really look foward to it very week, even thoug I think they could do more coverage. If you want to get live champion league games, you have to get RDS. I also get french game from TV5, also live, wich is great.

I know, it's the name of an ex hockey coach... I didn't know what to type in as a name when i subsribed. Anyway I don't think americans are bad people. I have been to new york and ann harbor and let me tell you, I loved It. I also went to Dallas, I liked it less because it was very very hot and I couldn't stand it.
