Hey guys,
does anyone know anything about the German Siville boys (aka Hinkel & Odonkor). Are they playing regular? Are they substitutes? Are they injured? If they are playing, how well are they performing?
Is Hinkel becoming an out of question option? What's wrong with him.. he isn't even in the Team-2006! Fabian Gerber took his place.

Team 2006? WC2006 is history Scorp! This nonsence - which didnt improve, or helped bringing up any player to the real NT - was abandoned :drinkbeer

Team 2006 doesn't exist anymore since last year...lol. It was a project-team for those players who are older than 21 but it's over now. Finito.

Is it?! Why is it posted then on the official DFB website with different players and with their clubs updated.
Anyhow, let's not forget the main topic about Hinkel & Odonkor

Yeah i heard that too with Hinkel. :( Any chance of Alves leaving in the winter? He's a great player it will be hard for Hinkel to challenge him, but then again it was a challenge from beginning, going to Spain.
I hope he will make it there. Hinkel once had this great ability of playing great in defence and fantastic in offense. I remember his crosses back then, they were fantastic. He always went forward, dribbled out several player and crossed then.
After he got the new contract from Stuttgart things changed, he was injured and never reached this great form again.

alves will most likely leave next season only if seville dont get a champions league spot

In the first link they basically say that Odonkor played very well and was a constant thread in the right wing playing with Die mannschaft. Altohugh they claim David put the assists to Ballack which is wrong cos the pig was the assister.

In the third link they say that Odonkor could be playing in the starting elf this spieltag due to he impressed the coach after he played 20 min very well against Real Madrid.

David Odonkor was rated the worst player of the match and that was the last game Real Betis played.
I feel sorry for him.
In an interview with DW-TV he said that he isn't expecting much from his move so far. I think he'll be returning to the Bundesliga next season.

Please!!! Give them time! They are in a new league, new style, new player, new team, new lifestyle!!! I'd give them a year to establish themselves and get used to life and the league in Spain. They had the courage to move and i have lots of respect of them that they decided to experience something totally new from the BL. The spanish league is the best in the world IMO so we should give them the time.

Odonkor, Creek :D and Sobis were the spine of the Betis

The Betis corroborated, at least in first the forty and five minutes, the improvement in its game - with Odonkor, Rivera and Sobis like its better bastions before a Recreational one that played with many precautions, although without resigning to surprise in some counterstroke.

http://www.as.com/articulo/futbol/Partidazo/Odonkor/nuevo/expolio/Recre/dasftbG00/20061109dasdaiftb_45/Tes/:

Odonkor dazzled with its speed and capacity of overflowing (it would be little less than Garrincha if above it knew to center well).

Odonkor been has guessed right in the second goal. With spaces it is a locomotive but it must improve the centers and other things.

Very good party of the German. Quick express and, was the best one of the Betis. A pain that centers so hopelessly badly

Odonkor, so quick in the race as vague in happens, broke the script to them by the right band. The German obtained yesterday that their virtues compensated their defects and knew to find at least to Sobis in a pair of opportunities.

Second half began far better, and is that after a good play braided by the equipment, the ball arrived in depth for Odonkor, that using itself its speed, went into in the area and served in tray the second goal to Sobis.

One of the surprises at night has been the performance of Odonkor, that has made a great party, "been has guessed right in one of its characteristic plays. But it must improve in other aspects ".
