Bastian, the saturday aint a bummer either in the 1st half
the first half deserves to be called logging football instead of playing it.
at least Aachen was on the way of winning for 1-2 minutes.
that was a very good adrenanline rush :ninja
Timo, what is GOmez doing again? The old game "being creative in wasting chances"? :drinkbeer

Its a joy to watch Schneider these days:
"Toooooooor für Bayer. Erneut Weltklassezuspiel von Schneider, diesmal auf Barbarez, der frei vor Enke auftaucht und souverän einnetzt."
"Riesenchance für Voronin, der nach einem Weltklassezuspiel von Schneider frei vor Enke auftaucht, aber er setzt das Leder rechts neben den Pfosten."
I didnt watch the Bayern game but i heard Lahm was great today. Hope he keeps that up.
**** i could puke. VfB again the better team and then again we cannot hold a 1-0 at home. Such a stupid mistake leads to the 1-1 in the last minutes of the game. :( I don't understand why we cannot win at home. Its a mystery to me. Why the hell are we always unlucky?????? Eintracht had not ONE good chance til they scored. 1 point from 3 home games...i feel so sick right now.

Tell it to my heart
Tell me I'm the only one
Is this really love or just a game
How can you not like this 80s classic dance tune? I'm a hardened metaller yet this one gets me up on the floor every time, easy song to dance to but then I am such a great dancer. Taylor who loves you baby...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5tX5IPLlxc&mode=related&search=
Yes I'm just trying to change the subject before anybody else mentions Mario 'monkeyboy' Gomez scored again, what happened this week, did Hitzlsperger hit a left foot hammer and it deflected off his ass, again?
Kuranyi also got on the score sheet today, my crystal ball sees a new dynamic duo for the nationalmannschaft, I'll be in Bermuda till this thing blows over.

Well I was there and Mario scored and played well.I think people on here should be nice to him-he is only 21 and despite his faults-he scores goals and can only get better.
VFB played well too-you can see the team getting better even though the crowd were angry at the end.
Bierofka was very good until his usual injury.
Veh made stupid subs and panicked then by bringing Babbel on.
Still VFB are slowly moving in the right direction.

Super dooper Mario. He needs to improve a lot of his game. Especially the monkey moves and the lack of coldness inf front of the goal. At least he is strong, has a drive to the goal and can do headers... To become a constant goalscorer he needs to put his game up 2 notches at last in his weak abilities

Perhaps we should cut him some slack for his effort granted but if he's going to be that kind of player ala Oliver Bierhoff he should be scoring a hell of a lot more than he actually does.
His technique ranks alongside the worst I've ever seen and he has absolutely no pace. These are the two fundamental things you look for in an offensive player. Contrary to this would be the classic centre forward mould; Gerd Muller, Olli Bierhoff, Gabrielle Batistuta etc; proficiency, anticipation, positional aptitude and reptilian-like cold blooded finishing. These types of players do nothing for 90 minutes and smell out one loose ball in the box and put the bloody thing away and win the game, no fanciness, no tricks just goals. I simply don't see that natural instinct in Mario Gomes, he wastes too many chances at close range to be classed as a potential classic centre forward type which btw I would love to see in the NT because they are a dying breed.
Even Carsten Jancker had more about him than Gomes, he could hold the ball up far better and you'd even get the occasional overhead kick for your money even though he was pretty hopeless at everything else. Gomes may notch up a few goals on a confidence run but the consistency just isn't there. If I'm wrong about Gomes I'll retire, everything I've seen of him simply suggests an average Bundesliga centre forward incapable of hitting more than 10 goals in any one season.
