Charlie Adam has signed a new two-year contract, which will keep him at Rangers until 2007.
The Scotland Under-21 midfielder started the season in the first team but has recently been consigned to the bench under new boss Paul Le Guen.
However, the 20-year-old has clearly impressed the Frenchman.
Adam told the Sunday Mail: "I'm pleased to commit myself to Rangers. I wanted to stay. Hopefully it shows the gaffer has a lot of faith in me." Adam has made three starts for unbeaten Rangers this term after spending last season on loan at St Mirren.
