The main match of the weekend was of course the Old Firm Derby at Cetic Park. It was a must-win match for O'Neil's side who have not wond an old firm match since McLeish took over the Ibrox hot seat. Other matches were Dundee playing at home to Kilmarnock, Hearts travelled to near neighbours LIvingston and Motherwell played host to Aberdeen.

The Sunday matches were Hibernian v Dundee United and Dunfermline Athletic versus Partick Thistle.

Round-Up

---------------------------------------

Celtic 1 - 0 Rangers
In the main match on the calender it was Celtic who came out on top thanks to a John Hartson strike. They could have had more but at the end of the day it was a well deserved win that kept the Celts in the title race.

---------------------------------------

Dundee 2 - 2 Kilmarnock
It was Dundee who should have had all three points had they not have sat back. They were 2-0 in front at the break thanks to goals from defender Lee Wilkie and Milne. It was not to be and Killie secured a point when they drew level 5 minutes from time thanks to ex-Dundee United player Gary McSweagen.

---------------------------------------

Livingston 1 - 1 Hearts
Hearts were in fron early at the city stadium thanks to Phil Stamp. It was a spirited comeback that earened the Lions a valued point. A set-piece allowed Livi to level - Makel's corner was met by Rubio to bullet a header past Moilanen after 61 minutes.

---------------------------------------

Motherwell 0 - 1 Aberdeen
It was a scrappy match won after 6 minutes by a Paul Sheerin penalty. Motherwell's misery was capped off with a 90th minute sending off.

---------------------------------------

Dunfermline Athletic 0 - 0 Partick Thistle
The match passed without incident and it was no surprise that this match ended goalless. Neither sided had the creative flair in front of goal. A missed pars free kick 10 minutes before half time was the only action of note.

---------------------------------------

Hibernian 1 - 1 Dundee United
Hibs should feel lucky to have their first point from 540 minutes of football as they were outclassed after taking the lead in the first half. Tam McManus put the home side in front a few minutes in. United levelled in the second half and will now look back at a string of missed chances from Dodds, Latapy and Paterson.

The SPL website used to put up the goal videos but they don't even do that now. There is however live radio coverage of all games online. I'll add the link to the links thread actually.
