very strange. On paper Leverkusen defence looks much stronger than NUFC but it happen to be their weakest point. Bayer didn`t play bad in offensive formations. They managed to show some good short passing but to no avail as nobody was to shoot. It looked as if they wanted to make a 100% clear situation to shoot. Unnecessarily.
Great goal, sh!ty penality, lucky crossbar. Disastrous defence.

Generally wasn`t that bad but NUFC was a class better team yesterday. No doubt about it.

they should forget all about the CL and concentrate on the league. next time they play in the CL, they should use their B team (don't they already? :o )

Soccerchic you´re kind-a wright, since if you look all he attackers and defenders are in poor shape. All what they boughtseems a disgrace for 20m€ or how mouch did they spent. None of their player is not in form. With new coach Horster he tried with the new players, which can as seems now, replace regular members in german national team like ramelow, Neuwile etc....

Hope they willl get at least one point, but i doubt in all of that, since theyre playing with Inter(home) and barcelona(away). And i would like to see Inter in quartterfinals, so they cant draw with them, except if they loose with baRCELONA and Inter in last two rounds?
