Manchester City have finally clinched the deal to take Robbie Fowler to Maine Road
Leeds United's plc confirmed to the Stock Exchange that the former Liverpool striker has completed his move for a £3million fee, with a further £3m payable when the player has made a number of first-team appearances.
The England forward is ready to make his debut against West Brom on Saturday.
City clinched a deal for the player at the second time of asking but City chairman David Bernstein denied there had been a boardroom split.
"I won't pretend there haven't been some interesting moments over the the last couple of months," he told BBC GMR.
"But we have a very together group of people. The board are totally together, totally supportive and there are no splits.
"We are now looking forward to winning matches and getting this club in the top part of the Premiership."
