You all guys and bundesliga fans, why do German keepers make silly and hertbreaking mistakes in big tournaments such as the Uefa champions league on a regular -basis?

I am extremely irritated and speechless that brave BREMEN went out undeservedly owing to avoidable mistake. What is saddening and annoying is not the fact that Bremen went out[because they have exceeded all fans expectation], but the way they lost the game at the death. Tim Wiese's mistake reminded me of KAHN'S awful blunder in the Brazil's first goal in 2002 world cup final and the same error he made in the knock out stage of the champions league in 2004 season, where he spilled Roberto Carlos's dangerous free-kick to the dismay of Bayern and their fans to date.
What are the main causes of such heartbreaking and unforgetable mistakes?
Mine are the following:
1/Strikers do not take eough of their chances before the pressure mounts, especially in knockout stages. This may bring defenders and keepers alike to come under constant pressure.
2/Defenders do not take utmost care in closing stages of crucial games, which is contrary to Germany's outstanding quality of killing games.Kicking balls long and killing time by some means is the solution as the past German players did.
3/The present German teams are psychologically inferior whenever they play against easy or strong opponents. Some thing needs to be done on this barrier as swiftly as possible so as to bring German clubs and German national team to develop winning mentality and sustain it.In paricular, coaches have to play increasing and constructive roles in calming players' tempers and play freely.
4/ The media itself is killing the teams and the up-and-coming talents by accentuating the defeat as if it were the end of the story. What is crucial is to accept the defeat and work on it not to repeat the loss.

this just makes me laugh:laugh is that a german joke only told in germany?:laughdon't get me wrong, i like Bayern Munchen. It's just some part of german population r quite humorous. Unlike the tepid style of play that Germany NT performed recently, these germans stir things up and make a fool out of themselves sometimes.

Seriously, I think about 70% of fans of the Bundesliga and German NT in this forum are not German. It's weird.

derejekissi, are you German?

I cannot see a problem. These posters some have German blood in them or other they admire German football-its history and tradition.

You cannot call them glory boys as it is not much glory at the moment being a German football fan.

Wiesse is a very talented keeper but I way too cocky.

Why the hell did he have to do that roll after the catch? He had the ball and could have just stopped. But no...he had to but out a judo roll...unbelievable.

That's not what I mean.

The reason why I got registered here in the first place was because of a stupid thread about non-Germans playing for the German NT and almost everyone in that thread was not even German or living here and seeing what Germany is like right now but wrote as if they knew and you had people come in and say "you Germans are racist" or other stuff when it was not even Germans posting.

Yeah, I have a problem with people thinking some of the posters on here are Germans.

Sorry if I offend some here but that's my opinion.

I was just joking, should have put a smiley or something.

I know what you mean though, it's irritating when people comment on the National Team when they don't even know how Germany is so culturally diverse now.

Watch the highlights of the Madrid vs Arsenal game. The Lehmann save and you'll know the one I'm talking about, justifies his place ahead of Kahn 10x over.

I cannot sleep so here goes.

Where my family lives in Ehningen (20 km south of Stuttgart) 50% of families now is one German parent/one non-German parent and that is cool.
10% of the German population is not German. That is cool too-but when only 32% of Bundesliga players are German then that is a problem.
Imagine if 68% of any country-any country jobs were taken by foreign workers-then we have a problem.
There has to be a balance and you have protect local-be it industry or arts/kunst/kino-making films.

Arsenal had 0 English/British players tonight-this is crazy.
What is the reason for this club to exist in London ?
Identity is important in football or it will die.

I am not German, but an oromo among above 40 million oromos in the Ethiopian population. You might know that German-Oromo relatonship is extremely strong .That is why not a small number of oromos are currently living in various parts of Germany as asylum seekers for the mere reason that Oromos are passionate supporters of the Oromo Liberation Front[ OLF], vying for the peace, freedom and emancipation of oromos from the UNDEMOCRATIC AND FASCIST regime of Meles Zenawi.I am also the victim of Meles Zenawi's brutal and divisive rule and if I get the chance, I am overjoyed to come to Germany to continue my post-graduate.All my post replies and threads are not intended to offend you and belittle German football and the Bundesliga. You may not believe, i am more concerned with Germany's success in all spheres maybe more than you though i am not German. Therefore, PLEASE don ot take me as Germany's enemy.
