City have put out feelers to Aston Villa regarding buying Darius Vassell, Keegan is still looking to spend the 7.5 million that was originally for Robbie Fowler on a new striker.
My question is this..............................
IF City buy Vassell what will Keegan spend the 7.4 million he'd have left after buying the f***ing sh*te Villa forward?

What im saying is this...................City have gone from a great striker like Fowler to a useless piece of sh*te in Vassell
I hope Keegan is not gonna waste millions on a player who's done nowt this season & hasnt really done much EVER.
That clear enough mark? ;)

ahhhh ok gotcha, sorry :P Yeah Vassell has good pace but why do you need pace, Anelka is for that, not the greatest finisher in the game, as you say a waste of £7.5m if you get him ;)

doesnt his contract run out though
hes been saying hes got everything he wants at Villa which is a trick to alert other clubs for him
id like to see him at at city but for 7.5mill , bit steep

Vassell is a good player :( I like him!
Think you should be aiming for someone to play just behind Anelka, maybe Litmanen? :o
How about an audacious loan bid for Riquelhme? :P

No talk of Dirk Kuyt yet. He is a promising, hard working striker at FC Utrecht and Feyenoord already contacted our board. 22 years, played a lot of U21 matches and a guy who never stoppes untill the final whistle has been blown, great character! If he has to leeve hope he'll move to City! :)

Off to UEFA Cup holders Feyenoord next season, nominated for best player of the season together with van Hooydonk and Kezman and selected for the national team for the match against Portugal in the meanwhile. The City board should read here more often ;)
Next tip:
-Alje Schut; young and promising U21 left/centre defender
-Stijn Vreven; probably most discussed player in Holland. No-one on this planet with a higher workethic and wil to win. Rightdefender and winger at the same time. Off to kaiserlautern probably..
-Harald Wapenaar: out of contract goalkeeper(free this summer), very good in 1 to 1 situations and great reflexes.

I'd say Citeh's most pressing issue would be to get Anelka & ??? (pick of Fowler, Vuoso, Macken etc) gelled and make them a 35+ goals a season partnership.
Other than that, a top notch GK has to be a priority.
Fax the name Mondragon to KK lads ;)

Apparently, on the ipswitch web site there saying that the clubs are going to do a swap deal with goater and weikens heading to ipswitch and matty holland comeing to city, if we cant get foe then thats a great deal. i was never for buying holland but if we can trim the wage bill and get him for basically nothing then lets do it

I would be surprised if that deal came out, but I'd be delighted.
Mattie Holland was apraised at £8M last summer, and I don't see Ipswich lowering their price that much... He'd be a great addition to our team.

They came close, they're not under administration yet.
But nonetheless, I'm sure they wouldn't give away their best player for almost no money.
BTW, a question to you all. If the deal Goater-Wiekens/Holland would come through, what would happen to Bristol City's sell-on clause ??
they would get a percentage of what goater was worth
