Hardly ever saw a more uninteresting and boring first half. Everytime BL teams play 3-4 days after the last gameday or CL/Uefa-Cup the gameday lucks and bores to death. I even went to the toilet 4 times just to see something interesting.

The good thing is that my TV has to be repaired since it only shows half of the picture... :drinkbeer

since I started a Tour de complaiment...
I get a littel worried with Metzelder, Lahm, Schweinsteiger and Podolski all in utterly poor form. Its some time to the WC06 but its about time they start to play better or in the case of Podolski to at least show that he is on the field.

Went to see Dortmund beat Duisburg 2-0 last night. Very unspectacular game, Duisburg well organised and could and should have got something out of the game, if they play like that for the rest of the season I can see them staying up.

Tim Wiese and his lovely pink shirt are reason enough to hope that Reinke will be back soon :drinkbeer

Stuttgart cant score, Timo!!! why is that? :ninja

Feb 8 2006, 10:59 PM
AAHHHHH...why? Hmm, STUPID MANAGEMENT...they didn't replace Hleb and now we have to pay for it! :( Hleb was our most important player along with another one who moved to a certain club! (no not Kuranyi!!!)

We need someone creative it makes me sick to see the midfield so helpless, they don't know what to do with the ball! Hleb made 14 assists last season. I do agree that he had many bad games too, but he still fed the striker with balls :(

Also we cannot play with 2 defensive midfielder! Meisner and Soldo doesn't work anymore. The only thing that's good is the defence. Timo saved again our asses today and if you ask me he's the only light in this dark VfB team :( Without him we'd fight against relegation!

Jeez, maybe it's because of Trap too, I don't know, but what i know is that they need a strong hand. Maybe Trap is too good, i don't know it. Or the other theory: It's impossible to coach this team! :ninja

what about Gomez timo? how is he doing it ?

Gerry_BMG
Feb 8 2006, 11:10 PM
well it looked in the "winter pause" that the team and Trap found their way to work with each other.. and what I saw was that it was better although I only saw part of the games... well... Stuttgart lacks creativity in midfield (sorry to say this like everybody does :ninja)... but you had some good chances... Gomez could have scored and than this discussion would be unneccessary... I think Stuttgart is on the up, sionce I see improvemnt from the "Vorrunde" :drinkbeer

The other player infected him with their black despair! :ninja

He thinks too much when he's the chance to score. Last Saturday he had 2 100% chances, though we didn't buy luck this season anyway!

Other than that he's doing pretty well. Noone ever blieved in his talent or noone thought he could make it into the first team. Well his talent showed up many times this season and I think he can become a good striker in the future. :nod

Yes, Gerry you are right! The stupid winterbreak destroyed everything we've just build up :( I don't understand why we have these problems again. You know, many VfB fans want to bring back Hleb, especially after we heard that he is not so happy at Arsenal. Who knows maybe he'll come back someday, but we need an AM now! Though it's soooo hard to find a good one :(

what I didnt like was Brehmes talk about Tomassons and Grojnkaers interview in a danish newspaper... although danish newspapers are a matter for debate nowadays, I wonder why Brehme said that they dont know it its true if both sais what they allegedly said... wtf! he sees them everyday in training! dont they talk? somehow I dont like the underlaying cognition of mine about the team chemestry...

Gute Besserung Andreas Reinke

Stranzl fuhr direkt ins Krankenhaus

Gute Besserung.

Yes, totally agree with you Merte. :( They don't deserve to be even called "fans"! I'm sorry for that, not all VfB fans are so stupid.

Get well soon Andi!
