He will fail badly in England. If ever there was a player NOT suited to the EPL it is D'Alessandro. He is too lightweight and won't cope with the rough and tumble of English football, won't be able to get away with his diving either. Portsmouth are **** as well.

As far as FC Volkswagen are concerned, I reckon they are well rid of him, he's a loser.

i thought that he's a good player. anyway, i'm sure ferdinand piech can find a good chinese replacement for him, cheaper but more efficient.

It's not just enough to have talent in abundance like he surely has, you have to have bollocks, "Eier" as Oli Kahn once said, and that is what is missing.

D'Alessandro has no winning mentality. With his skills he should be playing for Bayern, Milan or Barcelona, but he is playing for Portsmouth which says everything really.

Really stupid, the kid. If he wanted to try and secure a place in the national team for the WM, he has just neglected every possible chance.

How will this affect the Wolves? Will they switch the formation to a typical 4-4-2 or use someone else at attacking midfielder?

I think D'alessandro is going to be one of the many prodigical youths that fade away into nothing (ie Lars Ricken) which is a pity.

Logically if he couldn't make it in the Bundesliga then he certainly won't make it in the English League, I think he will go back to Argentina at the end of the season which is better for him.

too bad for his career.he has potential and now is going to loose it.. Firstly what was he thinking when joining leverkusen? These players see only money.. for him would be better some spanish middletable team... Now::i doubt he will ever play with the big boys..return to argentina is almost sure thing
